Chartered Building Surveyors and Architects at Stratton & Holborow have thirty years experience of the application of technical expertise and appropriate design. A thorough understanding of traditional construction techniques with their regional variations and
conservation methods is combined with sympathetic and imaginative architectural treatment and a thorough knowledge of the legal framework which shapes modern construction practice.
Pre-purchase surveys and quinquennial inspections are undertaken by the Division for residential, commercial and ecclesiastical buildings and are often followed by the detailing and specification of repairs. Advice is offered to clients in the adaptation, conversion or regeneration of unused or under-used domestic, commercial or agricultural buildings, and in liaison with English Heritage, local Planning Departments and their Conservation Officers with whom we have established relationships.
With respect to new buildings our Surveyors and Architects support clients with advice on Planning issues, assessing the potential for development, the preparation of Planning applications and if necessary appeals. The preparation of specifications, construction drawings and contract documentation, the management, administration and inspection of building work follows.
